Italian Politics: Brothers of Italy Gain Momentum
The latest survey conducted by SWG for La7 reveals a shift in the Italian political landscape, with the Brothers of Italy (FdI) party, led by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, experiencing a 0.3% increase in support. This growth brings the party’s overall percentage to 31.3%, reversing the trend observed in the previous week. The Democratic Party, on the other hand, has lost 0.2% and now stands at 22.1%.
The survey also indicates a slowdown in support for Giuseppe Conte’s M5S, which has lost 0.1% and now stands at 12.7%. The League, led by Matteo Salvini, has also experienced a decline, losing 0.2% and currently holding 8.2% of the vote. Forza Italia, led by Antonio Tajani, remains stable at 8.1%, despite recent internal tensions and calls for new leadership from Pier Silvio Berlusconi.
Other Parties’ Performance
The Green and Left Alliance has maintained its position, stable at 6.8%. Other parties, such as Action (3.1%), Italy Alive (2.2%), +Europa (1.4%), and We Moderates (1%), trail behind. The only party to experience growth is the Brothers of Italy, with the Democratic Party, M5S, and the League all losing support.

The survey’s findings suggest that Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s party is gaining momentum, while other major parties are experiencing declines. For more information and in-depth analysis, visit Here
