Izzi noted that the League had previously approved an agenda committing the government to take concrete steps towards chemical castration, while Toccalini emphasized the need to accelerate the proposal to prevent further violence.

Raffaele Nevi, spokesperson for Forza Italia, expressed caution, citing potential constitutional issues and the fact that Italy’s system does not allow for corporal punishment.
