Lactalis Italia Strengthens its Out of Home Portfolio at Sigep World
Durant Sigep World, Lactalis Italy presented its new Business Unit Out of Home, a strategic project dedicated to the development of professional solutions for catering. The fair represents the ideal context to show an integrated vision oriented towards the needs of operators in the catering industry with a widespread and versatile product portfolio.

Lactalis Italia is present in Pavilion B5, stand 59, near the Pastry Arena, a meeting point with industry professionals. The cooking shows are made by pastry chef Riccardo Magni, interpreter of the Group’s professional solutions, illustrating practical and technical applications of the products Lactalis in pastry, ice cream and cooking.
The New Business Unit Out of Home
The away from home market in Italy is worth approximately 100 billion euros, corresponding to 34% of total consumption expenditure food&beverage. The Out of Home BU was created to consolidate Lactalis’ presence in the professional channel, with a focus on service, performance and sustainability.

The BU operates in the channels Food Service Operator and Vending, covering milk, cheese, creams, butter, desserts and cured meats. The markets cheese and milk represent 77% of volumes and 67% of value, confirming the centrality of these categories in the OOH channel.
