Lineapiù Italia and AModa’s 2026 plan to attack the market

Must Read

Alessandro Bastagli’s Plan to Revitalize Lineapiù Italia and AModa

In times of crisis, taking a proactive approach is crucial, and Alessandro Bastagli, a Florentine entrepreneur, is doing just that. With a 5 million euro investment in his holding company, Finalba, which includes the Lineapiù Italia spinning mill, real estate properties, and the AModa company, Bastagli aims to consolidate his companies and regain market positions. The plan focuses on innovation, product development, and raw materials, allowing the company to study certain items at a competitive price while maintaining quality and optimizing production times.

Lineapiù Italia’s Revitalization Strategy

Lineapiù Italia, the historic Tuscan spinning mill, closed 2024 with a turnover of around 29 million euros but is expected to suffer a 20% decline by 2025, reaching around 22 million euros. To counter this, Bastagli has invested in innovation, product development, and raw materials, enabling the company to offer competitive prices while maintaining its creative DNA. The new policy will be launched at the next Pitti Filati in January 2026, with a focus on getting closer to the premium segment amidst the luxury market crisis.

AModa’s Investment and Expansion Plans

AModa, which manages licensing contracts with Everlast throughout Europe, will receive a 2 million euro investment. The company aims to reposition the Dimensione Danza brand, developing its DNA with a focus on jogging, pilates, and iconic tracksuits. Additionally, AModa will penetrate new markets, including Eastern European countries, and has finalized a partnership with Amazon for the Everlast store. A new brand, Peninsula, a resortwear line with swimsuits and beachwear, will also be added to the portfolio, with stores opening in Forte dei Marmi and Dubai.

Future Prospects and Partnerships

Bastagli has confirmed that there are no ongoing negotiations for the sale of Lineapiù Italia, despite rumors. The company has 105 employees on a rotating solidarity contract renewed until July 2026. With the investment plan in place, Bastagli is confident that Lineapiù Italia and AModa will regain their market positions and thrive in the industry. The company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and competitive pricing will be crucial in achieving this goal.
