The sites are part of the Lazio region’s Dimore storiche network, comprising an impressive array of castles, monasteries, churches, convents, palaces, parks, and villas. With 84 sites participating, many of which are usually difficult to visit, this event offers a rare chance to discover the region’s hidden gems. Some of the notable sites include Villa Falconieri in Frascati, Palazzo Chigi in Formello, Castello di Piombinara in Colleferro, Canale Monterano, Forte Sangallo in Nettuno, Palazzo Rospigliosi in Zagarol, Villa D’Este in Tivoli, Palazzo Colonna in Paliano, Palazzo del Drago in Bolsena, and Palazzo Barberini in Palestrina.
