Gaslini Pediatric Hospital Makes Debut at Sanremo Festival with Charity Initiative

The Gaslini pediatric hospital in Genoa has arrived at the Sanremo Festival with a series of initiatives aimed at supporting the creation of the New Gaslini, a project that involves the construction of a new hospital and a City of Health dedicated to young patients and their families. The charity initiative is centered around the beautiful white buttercup ‘Giannina’, which represents the purity of children and bears the name of the daughter of the founder of the Institute.

Buttercup ‘Giannina’ and Charity Night on Costa Toscana

The ‘Giannina’ buttercup, a mixed petal-leaf flower of exceptional duration, was donated by Biancheri Creazioni and can be purchased with a free donation in favor of Gaslini during the days of the Festival. The fulcrum of the initiative will be the Gaslini corner in via Escoffier, which will become a meeting point between citizens, tourists, and solidarity with many daily playful moments dedicated to children. The other highlight of Gaslini’s presence in Sanremo is the Charity Night on Sunday, February 22, on board the Costa Toscana, which will include various moments such as the viewing of pyromusical fireworks, institutional greetings, and a Charity Dinner with special guest Maestro Iginio Massari.

Supporting the New Gaslini Project

The New Gaslini project involves the construction of a new hospital and a City of Health, which is expected to be completed by 2030. The project aims to provide a better healthcare system for young patients and their families. The charity initiative at the Sanremo Festival is an important step towards raising funds and awareness for the project. With the support of Gaslininsieme ETS, the Institute aims to create a state-of-the-art healthcare facility that will provide the best possible care for children.

The mayor of Sanremo, Alessandro Mager, and the Councilor for Tourism, Alessandro Sindoni, together with the President of the Institute, Edoardo Garrone, have illustrated the importance of the charity initiative and the New Gaslini project. The Charity Night on board the Costa Toscana has already sold out, and the event is expected to raise significant funds for the project. For more information, visit Here
