Venezia hosts the Venice International Wine Trophy Bubbles, an international competition dedicated to sparkling wines and sparkling wines. The event, organized by Egnews.it and the guide Il Vino per Tutti with the support of the Enoteca Le Cantine dei Dogi, confirms itself as an important moment of comparison for the best Italian and international productions.

The Quality of the Bubbles and the Categories of Wine
The competition aims to enhance the diversity of sparkling wines from Classic Method to Charmat (Martinotti) up to refermented and ancestral wines. The participating wines are evaluated according to a 100-point system, with the awarding of medals and merit stamps:

Gold Grand Mention: absolute excellence (score over 91-94/100 depending on the category)

Trofeo Wine Lover: awarded by the popular jury
Technical Jury and Popular Jury
The technical jury is made up of oenologists, sommeliers, and sector journalists, led by Giuseppe Casagrande, journalist of Italia a Tavola, and Aldo Lorenzoni, president of GRASPO, and will meet on 15 March 2026 for the blind tastings.
Alongside the technical evaluation, a Popular Jury will award the prize Trophy Wine Lover, simulating the consumer’s purchasing experience and offering direct commercial feedback to the wineries.
