Emotions, tears, smiles, and big hugs are what make “You’ve Got Mail” a unique and captivating show. Created and hosted by Maria De Filippi, the program returns to Canale 5 on Saturday, January 10, with a new episode that promises to be just as emotional and entertaining as the previous ones.
The show’s format, which has been successful for many years, finds in Maria De Filippi the perfect mediator between the sender and recipient of the letters. She accompanies the protagonists on a journey of listening and discussion, creating a safe and supportive environment where they can share their stories and emotions. This year, among the protagonists of the first episode, recorded days ago, is the Turkish star Can Yaman, who recently made headlines for being stopped and then released in Istanbul as part of a drug investigation.

The show’s original format, created in 1999 by Maria De Filippi and Alberto Silvestri, has been exported to over 24 countries, including Spain, France, Greece, Germany, Portugal, Lebanon, Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, Romania, Bulgaria, Belgium, Canada, and the USA. This year, the postmen delivering the mail are Marcello Mordino, Gianfranco Apicerni, Andrea Offer, and John Bishop. The direction of the show is entrusted to Paolo Carcano.
