Luca Medici, aka Checco Zalone, Takes Over Mediaset Networks with a Flash Video Message
On a recent evening, Italians were surprised to see Luca Medici, also known as Checco Zalone, appear on all Mediaset channels at 9:00 pm with a flash video message. The message, which was broadcast on multiple networks including Canale 5, Italia 1, Rete 4, Iris, La5, Cine34, TgCom24, Italia 2, Mediaset Extra, Focus, Top Crime, Twentyseven, and Canale 20, was a unique and attention-grabbing move by the comedian.
A New Song and Video Clip: “Prostata enflamada”
During the message, Checco Zalone introduced a new song titled “Joaquin Cortison presents ‘Prostata enflamada'” which is already available on YouTube. The song was accompanied by a video clip directed by Gennaro Nunziante, who has previously worked with Checco Zalone on several films, including his first four films and the upcoming comedy “Buen Camino”, set to be released on December 25th. The video clip features Checco Zalone in the role of Joaquin Cortison, singing lines like “when you have a prostate that not even Pablo can escobar…”.
The move was seen as a promotional stunt for the upcoming film, but Checco Zalone was quick to address any potential criticism. “Some malicious people, I know now, will think ‘This is here to advertise the film which comes out on December 25th. To the malicious people, if you don’t like it, change the channel, put Italia 1… network 4… I’m always there'”, he said with a hint of irony.
A Unique Marketing Strategy
Checco Zalone’s decision to take over multiple Mediaset networks with his flash video message was a bold move, and one that has sparked conversation among audiences and industry professionals alike. The move demonstrates the comedian’s ability to think outside the box and push the boundaries of traditional marketing strategies. As he jokingly said, “They gave me three unified Mediaset networks – you see how screwed these guys are”.
For those interested in watching the video message and the new song “Prostata enflamada”, it is available on YouTube. The upcoming film “Buen Camino” is set to be released on December 25th, distributed by Medusa Film. For more information, visit Here
